The focus of the urban design studio project was to study the complex architectural / landscape design problems of downtown Oklahoma City, then to implement a master plan to solve the major underlying issues. The solution was to unify the business area with the entertainment area through strategic placing of new districts, landscaping, and pedestrian walkways throughout the existing urban fabric. The Urban Health Spa is one among fifteen facilities. The spa provides a place of health and fitness for those that work and reside in the downtown and surrounding area.
